RECAP & PREVIEW

 

The Springfield Jr. Blues split last weekend against the Coulee Region Chill, with a Friday night 3-4 loss, followed by a Saturday night 3-0 win! After a long weekend of away games, your Springfield Jr. Blues are ready to be back in action at the Nelson Center this weekend.

Springfield is facing the Minnesota Magicians for a three-game home stand. This is the fifth time they have met the Magicians this season, and they are 3-2 against them.

Thursday night at Nelson Center will be our Dollar Days!, with $5 admission at the door, as well as $1 beer from the Coors Light Super Cold, and $1 hot dogs!

 

Friday and Saturday night are our A-chievers game, where students 17 and under with an “A” on their report card get in for FREE! Come on out and celebrate your “A” student with us! This weekend we will also be celebrating Teacher Appreciation, with prizes and giveaways all night! Teachers and Faculty get in for just $5.00 with proper ID at the door (cash only).

Manning the Blue Line:

 

Matt DenmanThis blue liner has recorded 21 points this season, 19 of which are assists. Springfield will have to keep an eye on his two-way play, and limit his chances to set up scoring chances

Between The Pipes:

 

Isaiah Saville:  The Anchorage native 15-11-0-2 this season, with a goals against average of 2.70. He also sports a save percentage of 0.915.

Dylan Rauh Springfield forward Dylan Rauh started the season with the Topeka RoadRunners, where he logged 5 goals and 7 assists. In his time with Springfield, he already has 1 goal and 5 assists. He has scored one power play goal and one game winning goal this season. He will look to continue his momentum this weekend against the Coulee Region Chill.

Marcus Walter: The recent D1 commit has logged 16 points this season, with 4 goals and 12 assists. He has one power play goal and one game winning goal.
