The Springfield Jr. Blues will be hitting the road this weekend traveling to La Crosse, Wisconsin for a two game series with the Coulee Region Chill. The series kicks off Saturday at 7:00pm and the final game of the series starts Sunday at 1:00pm.
Springfield (16-16-1-1, 34 points.) is currently in 3rd place in the NAHL Midwest Division. Coulee Region (15-16-2-0, 32 points) is sitting right behind Springfield in 4th place.
Springfield is happy to get back in action after having last weekend off, and have not played since conceding a 3-0 defeat on January 8th.
“It was a nice break,” Springfield Head Coach Tony Zasowski said. “We kind of went back to training camp workouts and used this time to focus on skill and getting healthy. We’re ready to get back to it and get ready for a successful second half (of the season).”
