Trevor Stone Makes D-I Commitment

Jr. Blues forward Trevor Stone has committed to play college hockey for the United States Air Force Academy. The Air Force Academy is a member of the Atlantic Hockey Association in NCAA Division I.

 

Stone, a Pleasant Plains, IL native, is in his fourth season with the team and his fourth season in the NAHL.  He is currently the team’s leading scorer with 29 points on the season including 10 goals and 19 assists. “I’m thankful for my friends, family, and coaches that have helped me in my four years here.  It’s been a great experience.” said Stone “I think this shows the NAHL can help you get where you want to go. I’m really excited for the opportunity and looking forward to making a playoff push to finish up the year. “

 

“We’re all very proud of Trevor.” says Jr. Blues head coach Tony Zasowski. “He’s been a big part of our program for the last four years and he’s definitely earned this.”

 

Stone is the seventh member of the Jr. Blues to make a college commitment. Teammate Brady Tomlak also committed to the Air Force Academy earlier this year. Other commitments include: Sam Craggs – Bowling Green University; Ted Rotenberger – University of Alabama Huntsville; Michael Houle – Bowling Green University; Tommy Nappier  – Ohio State University; Hunter Schneider – University of Wisconsin –River Falls.
