Jr. Blues Sign Tender for 2019-20 Season

Springfield, Illinois – The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud member of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that the first tender of the season will be used on goaltender Henry Graham. Graham is now tendered with the Jr. Blues for the 2019-20 season.

Graham has compiled a 1.47 GAA and a .947 save percentage while playing for Honey Baked U18 this season. He will finish out his high school career at Detroit Hockey Academy before coming to Springfield.

The 6’ 0”, 175 lbs right-handed goalie had this to say about being a tender for the Jr. Blues: “I am extremely excited to play for the Springfield Jr. Blues and Coach Rennette, and to contribute to the excellence of the Jr. Blues organization.”

“We are excited to welcome Henry,  he is a very quick and skilled goalie with great vision,” Coach Rennette said, “All of us here with the Jr. Blues look forward to seeing what Henry can bring to the team next season.”

Springfield Welcomes Tendered Players for Roster Expansion

Each year, teams in the National American Hockey League (NAHL) can bring up to two tendered players who qualify for the 18-19 season, on as expansion players near the end of the season. This year the Springfield Jr. Blues have added two players, Jayden Jensen and Josh Adimey.

Jayden Jensen comes to the team from Marengo, IL. Jensen turned 17 in February, plays Defense, shoots right, and is 6’4” tall. He most recently played MM (Midget Minor) U16 hockey for Belle Tire in Chelsea, MI.

Josh Adimey comes to us from the Iowa Wild AAA U16 team in Des Moines. Born in Lancaster, NY, Adimey also turned 17 this past February, is a Forward, shoots left, is 6’2” tall.
