Springfield, IL- Springfield Jr. Blues announced today that defenseman Martin Liljekvist has signed a professional contract with Örnsköldsviks HF of the Division 1 Sweden League.
Liljekvist, listed at 6’6” and 240 lbs., has appeared in 7 games for Springfield this year. The 19-year old will be the 5th professional signing of a Springfield player since 2013.
