Fisher Scott Commits to Colorado College

Springfield, Illinois – The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that defenseman and 2021 tender Fisher Scott has committed to Colorado College!

Scott, who signed his tender back in the Spring, is a native of Carbondale, CO and spent last season playing for the Colorado Thunderbirds 16U AAA. In 13 games in 2020-21 with the Thunderbirds, Scott recorded 3 assists after recording 1 goal and 6 assists in 2019-20. Scott joins fellow former Thunderbirds Carter Cloutier and Michael Valdez who are also acquisitions of the Jr. Blues this season.

*UPDATE*: Fisher Scott finished the 2021-22 NAHL season with 2 goals and 17 assists in 56 games played for the Jr. Blues. He also appeared in 3 games for the Dubuque Fighting Saints (USHL) where he recorded 1 assist. Alongside Scott, Michael Valdez also committed to Colorado College in what will be the third organization the pair have played together on. He was the first to commit to a collegiate program this season, but he was joined by Valdez, Connor Smith (Union College), Hagen Moe (Bowling Green University), Joey Dosan (Army-West Point), Ethan Roberts (Univ. of St. Thomas), Mac Gadowsky (Army-West Point), and Tristan Shewchuk (College of St. Scholastica) as 8 players have committed to NCAA programs
