Real Men Wear Pink

CLICK HERE TO DONATE TO THE JR. BLUES’ REAL MEN WEAR PINK CAMPAIGN

Fans,

October marks the third year the Springfield Jr. Blues have participated in the American Cancer Society’s “Real Men Making Strides” campaign and the first year I will be our candidate. I am extremely proud of the work our previous candidates Tyler Rennette and Tony Zasowski accomplished to bring together our Jr. Blues’ family to fundraise for an important cause.  Our players have stepped up in years past selling merchandise, spreading the word about the campaign and sharing inspiring stories of loss and triumph. I look forward to seeing what our guys can bring to the campaign this season.

This year we will be hosting our 3rd annual Pink the Rink game on October 26th when we paint the ice pink, play in special pink jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game, and sell pink merchandise with all the proceeds going to the Real Men Wear Pink campaign. I encourage fans to come out and catch all the fun and take a spin on the ice after the game with our team on the Pink Ice. Last year we raised over $4500 at the game and I am confident we can push that number north of $5000.

I am committed to doing my part to raise money for an important cause, I would like to ask that you help me out by spreading the good word, and if possible donating to my campaign. To donate please visit my Real Men Wear Pink page to learn more information about donating.
