Players To Watch: Nolan Turi

The Springfield Jr. Blues will be running a featured series called “Players to Watch”. These stories will highlight the newest Springfield Jr. Blues players that will be competing at Main Camp.  The camp is FREE to all those who wish to attend and will begin on Friday, June 23rd, and conclude on Sunday afternoon with the All-Star Game.

Nolan Turi signed a tender with the Springfield Jr. Blues in the Spring of 2017 after 2 seasons in the HPHL with Compuware U18. Last season, Turi had his most successful season of AAA hockey, scoring 4 goals and tallying 11 assists in 21 games for Compuware.

“Nolan is a hard working player who’s game should translate well to the North American Hockey League’s style of play,” says Springfield’s Head Coach/GM Tyler Rennette. “As a (1999) birth year, he is a player that can make an impact on our team this season and in future seasons to come.”
