Callahan Johnson was acquired by the Springfield Jr. Blues signing a tender in the Spring of 2017. He comes to Springfield with a high level of experience, appearing in 8 games for the Cedar Rapids Roughriders of the United States Hockey League. Prior to his time in the USHL, Johnson averaged over a point-per-game for Tilton School in New Hampshire, leading the team with 23 goals and 39 points in 35 games played.
