Jr. Blues Trade Moe to St. Cloud

Jun 23, 2023

Springfield, Illinois – The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), have announced they have traded veteran forward Hagen Moe to the St. Cloud Norsemen in exchange for second year forward Anthony Ruklic.

Moe was acquired from Corpus Christi in September of 2021 and made an immediate impact on the ice for the Jr. Blues. The Native of Grand Rapids, MI tallied 28 goals in 52 games played. Last season Hagen split time between the USHL and NAHL. He suited up for the Lincoln Stars and Green Bay Gamblers before returning to Springfield at the trade deadline.

Coming to Springfield is second year forward and Edwardsville, IL native Anthony Ruklic. Last season Anthony split time between the Des Moines Bucaneers (USHL) and the St. Cloud Norsemen. Prior to the 2022-23 season Anthony was teammates with current Jr. Blues forward Alex Fendler with the St. Louis AAA Blues program.

We want to welcome Anthony to Springfield and thank Hagen for everything he did on and off the ice in a Jr. Blues Jersey and wish him the best of luck in St. Cloud.
