Springfield, Illinois – The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud member of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce the signing of Luke Weilandt to a tender for the 2019-20 season.
Weilandt, 16, currently plays for the Chicago Mission U16 team. The 5’6”/146 lbs. forward from Chicago, IL scored 24 points in 20 games last season for the Mission, and has 11 points in 15 games this season. Weilandt joins Tristan Trudel (Peoria Mustangs, NA3HL) and Henry Graham (Honeybaked U18, HPHL) on the Springfield tender list for the 2019-20 season.
