Jun 12, 2023

Springfield, Illinois – The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud member of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that we have signed forward Logan Sutton to a tender for the 2023-24 season.

Sutton, a native of Erie, PA, played last season for Victory Honda U18 where he scored 21 goals and added 23 assists for 44 points.

“Logan has the compete, character, and skill that we look for here is Springfield”, said Head Coach Todd Pococke. “He has the ability to score big goals and we are looking forward to watching him grow as a player next season.”

Sutton is the 8th player to sign a tender with the Jr. Blues for the 2023-24 season as he joins Dakota Lenz (Mason City Toros), Dylan Glinski (Drumheller Dragons), Brando DiAntonio (Biggby U18), Trey Jefferis (Philly Jr. Flyers U18), Nick Bunch (Belle Tire U18), Jayer Luedke (Carshield U18), Zach Howard (St. Thomas Academy), and Caden Hagarty (Rosemount HS).

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team and may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft, which is held each year in June.
