Jr. Blues Sign Pappas to 2019-20 Tender

Springfield, Illinois – The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce the signing of forward Hunter Pappas to a tender for the 2019-20 season!

Pappas, 19, played his entire youth career with the Colorado Springs Tigers program and served as an assistant captain this past year for the 18U team. The 5’11/170 lbs. native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, posted 13 points (4 goals, 9 assists) in 20 NAPHL games this past season, which was his fourth year in the league.

“I would like to start off by thanking Coach Rennette and Coach Dallmann for this opportunity and I am extremely excited to play for the Springfield Jr . Blues organization,” said Pappas. “I look forward to competing at the next level and the challenges that come with it. I am grateful for the support of my family and friends and I appreciate my past coaches along the way for believing in me.”

Pappas joins a strong core of players that the Jr. Blues have tendered for next season. The group consists of NA3HL, NAPHL, and AAA players, with three of them having suited up for the Jr. Blues last season.
