Jr. Blues sign Dylan Glinski to Tender for 2023-24 Season

May 23, 2023

Springfield, Illinois – The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are excited to announce that we have signed forward Dylan Glinski to a tender agreement for the 2023-24 season.

Glinski, a native of Saginaw, MI, played last season for the Drumheller Dragons in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL). In 60 games played, he had 19 goals and 11 assists for 30 points. During the 2021-22 season, Dylan notched 27 goals in just 47 games played for the Chatham Maroons.

“Dylan has the ability to score goals,” said Head Coach Todd Pococke. “He has scored at every level he has played at and brings some veteran leadership to Springfield as well.”

Glinski becomes the seventh player to sign a tender with the Jr. Blues for the 2023-24 season as he joins Nick Bunch (Belle Tire), Jayer Luedke (Carshield), Zach Howard (St. Thomas Academy), Caden Hagarty (Rosemount HS), Trey Jefferis (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers), and Brando DiAntonio (Biggby Coffee).

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL, his playing rights belong to that team and may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft, which is held each year in June.
