Jr. Blues Partner with Tahoe Prep Academy for Prospects Challenge

Springfield, Illinois – The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), want to extend a thank you to the Tahoe Prep Academy for their excellent representation of the Jr. Blues at the first annual NAHL Prospects Challenge!

The NAHL Prospects Challenge is an extension of the NAPHL Fall League, in which 18U and 16U teams were put together and represented by NAHL teams. The 18U and 16U teams both performed well over the weekend and represented both Tahoe Prep Academy and the Jr. Blues with flying colors. The 18U team finished the weekend 4th in their division while the 16U team finished in 3rd. We want to extend a thank you and a congratulations to the players and coaches for their hard work and time during the Prospects Challenge!

 

We are excited by this new partnership with the Tahoe Prep Academy as we believe this relationship will help foster the development of hockey on the West Coast. Additionally, we are very pleased that we are able to assist in giving these young players the exposure through the Prospects Challenge that they might not have gotten otherwise.

 

The Tahoe Prep Academy is the first hockey preparatory school in California, located in South Lake Tahoe, CA, and offers both on and off ice training for players in grades 9 through 12.
