Springfield, Illinois – The Springfield Jr. Blues will be moving one step closer towards the 2019-20 NAHL season this weekend as we host our 2019 Main Tryout Camp. Returning players, tenders, draft picks, and invitees will descend upon Springfield in hopes of making the roster.
The camp will be spread out over three days, starting Friday morning and wrapping up Sunday afternoon. 14 one-hour long games will be played among the prospects, who have been divided up into eight teams. A goalie session will break up the action on Saturday afternoon and an All-Star Game will be held Sunday morning before the final cuts are made. Players and parents who are selected for the team will attend a post-camp meeting on Sunday before leaving town.
Admission to watch the camp is free to all who wish to attend. Concession and beer stands will be open as well.
