Jr. Blues Get Win Over The Jets

The Jr. Blues picked up their fourth straight win with a 3-2 victory over the Janesville Jets.

 

The Jr. Blues took the lead first with a goal from Isaac Ceh off assists from Kyle Meh and Sam Craggs at the 3:35 mark of the first period. Janesville then scored to tie the game up 1-1 at the end of the first period. The lone second period goal was from Sam Craggs off assists from Trevor Stone and Anthony Scarsella to give the lead back to the Jr. Blues at 2-1. Janesville then scored again to tie the game at 2-2 at the 8:28 mark of the third period. But then, Brady Tomlak found the back of the net off an assist from Drew Richter in what would end up being the game winning goal, pushing the score to 3-2.

 

Tommy Nappier blocked 31 of 33 shots he saw to earn the win.

 

Tonight’s win moved the Jr. Blues into second place in the Midwest Division. The Jr. Blues are on the road this weekend taking on the Coulee Region Chill in Lacrosse, WI.
