Springfield, Illinois – The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that we have acquired forward Cole Dubicki from the Kenai River Brown Bears!
Dubicki, a 20 year old forward from Seattle, WA, is in his second and final junior hockey season. He played in 41 games this season for the Brown Bears and scored 17 goals and 38 assists and was named the NAHL Forward of the Month in December. In 81 total games for Kenai over two seasons he registered 18 goals and 49 assists after playing four seasons in the NAPHL for the Everett Jr. Silvertips.
“Cole is a skilled hockey player who we’ve been able to see a few times this year and we are excited to have him here with us,” said Head Coach Tyler Rennette. “Picking up a player like Dubicki at this point in the season is huge and we’re looking forward to seeing how he can contribute the rest of the way.”
Welcome to Springfield, Cole!
