Springfield, IL- The Springfield Jr. Blues will be hosting Star Wars Night on Friday, December 2nd at The Nelson Center in Lincoln Park.
Characters from the beloved series will be in appearance to escort the team onto the ice, interact with fans and pose for pictures. There will be Star Wars Trivia with prizes that will be given out, including tickets to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
This night will also consist of a canned food drive that will be donated to Central Illinois Food Bank. Fans will receive $1 off admission for every canned food item that is donated, up to 4 cans per person.
Springfield will be playing Janesville Jets Hockey. Doors will be opening at 6:05pm with the puck drop at 7:05pm. Happy Hour will be from 6:05pm to 6:45pm.
