Erich Fear Makes D-I Commitment

Jr. Blues defenseman Erich Fear has committed to play college hockey at the University of Denver.

 

Fear, a Winnetka, IL native, is in his first year with the Jr. Blues and his first year in the NAHL. He has 9 points on the season and is +7. Fear was selected to compete at the NAHL Top Prospects tournament for the NAHL Selects team.  “I’m excited for the opportunity to play at Denver. I’m excited to get there and start working and developing to earn a chance to play.” said Fear “I’m thankful for Springfield and the Jr. Blues for helping to develop me and get me to this point.”

 

The University of Denver plays in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference and is a member of the NCAA Division I.

 

Erich Fear is the eighth Jr. Blues player to make a college commitment this year including: Sam Craggs – Bowling Green University; Tommy Nappier – Ohio State; Michael Houle – Bowling Green University; Teddy Rotenberger – University of Alabama Hunstville; Brady Tomlak – Air Force Academy; Hunter Schneider – Wisconsin River Falls; Trevor Stone – Air Force Academy.
