Springfield, Illinois – The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that forward and Top Prospect Cole Dubicki has announced his collegiate commitment to Tufts University!

Dubicki, a native of Seattle, WA, recently concluded his third season in the NAHL and his first here in the Capital City. “Cole joined us during one of the busiest points in the season and was a crucial piece of what we were able to accomplish,” said Rennette. “He’s a wonderful young man and we’re looking forward to seeing what he’s able to do at Tufts and beyond!”

Overall in his junior career Dubicki tallied 23 goals and 63 assists in 104 games split between Springfield and Kenai River. He was part of the Brown Bears cinderella run to the Midwest Division finals in 2021 and  he grew up playing in the Everett Silvertips AAA program (NAPHL).

Dubicki becomes the 10th player from the 2021-22 Jr. Blues roster to commit to a NCAA program. He joins Fisher Scott (Colorado College), Michael Valdez (Colorado College), Connor Smith (Union College), Hagen Moe (Bowling Green), Joey Dosan (Army-West Point), Ethan Roberts (St. Thomas), Mac Gadowsky (Army-West Point), Tristan Shewchuk (St. Scholastica), and Daniel Juzych (Colby College).
