Springfield, Illinois – The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud member of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that Brandon Puricelli and Max Brainin have earned Honorable Mentions for Player of the Week for the Midwest Division.
Brandon Puricelli scored two goals and added an assist in Saturday night’s 5-3 loss to the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. Puricelli now has 18 goals on the season and is tied for third in the league in scoring. It was his third multi-goal game of the season.
Max Brainin had a goal and an assist in Friday night’s 2-1 overtime victory, and had three assists in Saturday’s game. Brainin has 10 goals and 16 assists on the season, which puts him in third for goals and first for assists on the team.
