Springfield, Illinois – It’s been over 500 days since the Springfield Jr. Blues have been able to have a full weekend of hockey here at the Nelson Center, but we are finally only a week away from our 2021 Main Tryout Camp!
Our 2021 Main Camp is set to begin next Thursday July 29th and run through Sunday August 1st. All games during camp will be open to the public and we encourage all fans, sponsors, and parents to join us as we pick our team for our 28th season in the North American Hockey League (NAHL)!
We are in uncharted waters, so to speak, as we have an entire roster to fill for our upcoming 2021-22 season, but that doesn’t mean we’re behind the 8-ball. Our coaches have been hard at work signing players to tender agreements, drafting players in both the 2021 Supplemental and Entry drafts, and scouting additional players to invite to Main Camp.
