Weekend Preview – Springfield vs. Janesville Jets

The Springfield Jr. Blues won one of the three games in last weekend’s series against the Minnesota Magicians. All three games went to overtime, earning your Jr. Blues at least a point from each game!

Springfield is at home this weekend, facing the Janesville Jets. Springfield scores on the Power Play 27% of the time, while Janesville only finds the back of the net 19.6% of the time. This is Springfield’s 27th home game of the season, with a home record of 14-9-2-1.

He has scored six power play goals and one game winning goal this season. He will look to continue his momentum this weekend against the Janesville Jets!

Chase Mickelson: This blueliner put up 3 goals – including one power play goal, plus 11 assists so far this season. He is on pace to match, or even exceed, his 20 points from last season.
