The Springfield Jr. Blues won Wednesday against the Janesville Jets, after a long stretch of away games, your Springfield Jr. Blues are ready to be back in action at the Nelson Center.

Springfield is at home all weekend, facing the Minnesota Magicians for our last home stand of the regular season. This is the sixth time they have met the Magicians this season. Springfield and the Magicians have been battling for third place in the standings for the last few weeks, and this game series could determine final standings before playoffs.

Friday night at Nelson Center will be our Fan Appreciation Night and Billet Family night. Come out for some fun giveaways and to celebrate our team! Saturday night is our Jump Rope for Heart night! This is our last home-stand for the regular season, so be sure to come out and see your Springfield Jr. Blues in action.

Jarrett LeeThe Magicians forward has 38 points so far this season, averaging just under one point per game. He is already far exceeding his points from last season, also with the Magicians. He has three game winning goals as well as three power play goals, so Springfield will have to be aware of his ability to capitalize when it matters most for his team.

Manning the Blue Line:

 

Matt DenmanThis blue liner has recorded 21 points this season, 19 of which are assists. Springfield will have to keep an eye on his two-way play, and limit his chances to set up scoring chances

Between The Pipes:

 

Isaiah Saville:  The Anchorage native 20-12-3-0 this season, with a goals against average of 2.54. He also sports a save percentage of 0.922.

Ethan Stewart The Springfield forward leads his team in points this season with 17 goals and 24 assits. He has scored six power play goal and one game winning goal this season. He will look to continue his momentum this weekend against the Magicians.

 

Manning The Blue Line:

Ryan Murray: The defenseman started the season with the Minnesota Wilderness, where he logged 2 assists. Since his trade to Springfield, he has added one more assist to that total.

Jurja Ovecka: Goaltender Jurja Ovecka sports a save percentage of .924 this season, with 2.65 GAA. He is 11-6 so far this season for the Springfield Jr. Blues, and he will look to stay hot this weekend!
