The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that forward Max Nylander has signed a professional contract with the Hvidovre Ishockey Fighters of the Metal Ligaen in Denmark.
Hvidovre has spent the past 3 seasons playing in Denmark’s Division 1 League, before making the jump to Metal Ligaen for the upcoming 2017-18 season. Metal Ligaen is the premiere league in Denmark.
Nylander, a native of Malmo, Sweden, scored 15 goals and tallied 17 assists for Springfield this past season. His 32 points was tied for 4th most on the team.
