The Springfield Jr. Blues will be running a featured series called “Players to Watch”. These stories will highlight the newest Springfield Jr. Blues players that will be competing at Main Camp. The camp is FREE to all those who wish to attend and will begin on Friday, June 23rd, and conclude on Sunday afternoon with the All-Star Game.

Michael Corson signed a tender with the Springfield Jr. Blues for the 2017-18 season. Corson spent last season playing for the Chicago Young Americans in the High Performance Hockey League cumulating a 2.85 Goals Against Average and a .915 Save %.
Springfield Head Coach/GM Tyler Rennette had this to say when describing Corson, “Michael is a quick, athletic goaltender. He uses his good size to his advantage and plays big in the net.”
