Players To Watch: Max Brainin

The Springfield Jr. Blues will be running a featured series called “Players to Watch”. These stories will highlight the newest Springfield Jr. Blues players that will be competing at Main Camp.  The camp is FREE to all those who wish to attend and will begin on Friday, June 23rd, and conclude on Sunday afternoon with the All-Star Game.

Max Brainin signed a tender with the Springfield Jr. Blues after his 2016-17 season was complete. He competed last season for the New Jersey Hitmen in the USPHL Premiere appearing in 30 games, scoring 9 goals and adding 7 assists. Brainin also has NAHL experience to his name, appearing in 10 games for the Northeast Generals and tallying 4 points.

Springfield Head Coach/GM Tyler Rennette had this to say when asked about Brainin, “Max is an intelligent hockey player that also plays with an edge. Combine that with his scoring touch, he is a player that can make an impact for our team.”
