The Springfield Jr. Blues concluded Pre Draft Camp presented by Neuhoff Media on Sunday afternoon at the Nelson Center. The camp featured six teams comprised of 110 hockey players from across the US, Canada, and Europe. Included in the camp were current Jr. Blues Trevor Stone, Nate Chasteen, Jack Sloan, Alex Baskakov, and Ji Li along with 2013 tenders; Les Lancaster, Josh Lammon, Stefanios Lekkas, Joe Carney, and Kyle Shreve.
Players competed in 4 games spanning Friday thru Sunday. "We were excited by the quality of players that attend our Pre Draft Camp," stated Head Coach and General Manager Tony Zasowski "Our scouts have been working hard evaluating and recruiting players all season and it was great to finally get to see them and show of the city of Springfield."
The Jr. Blues are rounding out their recruiting class as they are signing players utilizing their final tenders which are due on Sunday June 2nd in preparation for Tuesday's Entry Draft. The draft starts at 1 pm CST. Follow the results on twitter.
