Jr Blues Get 5-2 Win

Nov 13, 2015

The Jr Blues take game one of the weekend set against the Minnesota Wilderness with a 5-2 victory.

Coale Norris got the scoring going with a goal off an assist form Brady Tomlak at the 4:58 mark in the first period. After the Wilderness tied it up, Sam Craggs gave the lead back to the Jr Blues with the goal off assists from Trevor Stone and Jeff Skinner. Craggs would then score again off assist from Skinner and Anthony Scarsella to make the lead to 3-1. Brady Tomlak then scored off the assist from Erich Fear to extend the lead to 4-1. The Wilderness closed the gap to 4-2 but then Brennan Blaszczak scored the unassisted, empty net goal to give the Jr Blues the 5-2 that would be the final score.

The same two teams play again tomorrow night at 7:05.  Tomorrow night is Teacher Appreciation Night with $5 tickets for teachers and school staff. There will be a printer giveaway from Office Depot and teachers can enter in for a chance to win a Jr Blues party with their class.
