Illinois State Fair

Aug 8, 2012

The Springfield Jr. Blues are excited to once again be part of the Illinois State Fair August 9-19th.  The Jr. Blues participated in the fair for many years before taking off recently from the festivities.

“I felt it was important to be part of the fair.  In my short time in Springfield, it is clear that the Fair is a large part of the community and I wanted to have the Jr. Blues be a part of it,” said Jr. Blues owner Dan Ferguson.

The Jr. Blues will help kick off the Fair as current players will walk with the Quaker Steak & Lube float in Thursdays Parade.  Players will be walking and inline skating while passing out free tickets to preseason games.

The Jr. Blues will also have a booth in the Expo building located just inside the front entrance.  The Jr. Blues will be raffling off season tickets.  Any individual that registers for the raffle will automatic receive a ticket voucher to one of the Jr. Blues preseason games.

The Jr. Blues will also be selling season tickets at the fair.  There is still time to get season tickets for the reduced rate of $150 or 33% of the regular price of $224.  Anyone buying season tickets will be entered to win the Rinkside Party box for 15 people for a preseason game along with other free gifts from current sponsors.

Single game tickets go on Sale September 1st.  For more information on pricing, visit www.jrblues.com
