Della Maggiore Commits to Alaska- Fairbanks

Jr. Blues goalie Niko Della Maggiore has committed to play college hockey at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.

 

Della Maggiore has spent the last two seasons with the Jr. Blues. This past season he earned an 11-8-2 record with a 91.3% save percentage and a 2.82 GAA average. He was named the Midwest Division Player of the Week for the week of October 26 and was named the NAHL Goalie of the Month for the month of October.

 

The University of Alaska-Fairbanks is a member of the NCAA Div-I and is member of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

 

Niko Della Maggiore is the 12th Jr. Blues player to make a college commitment this season including: Joey Lupo – Amherst; Erich Fear – Denver; Kyle Meeh – Saint Mary’s University; Tommy Nappier – Ohio State; Trevor Stone – Air Force;  Anthony Scarsella – Michigan State; Michael Houle – Bowling Green; Brady Tomlak – Air Force;  Sam Craggs – Bowling Green; Hunter Schneider – Wisconsin-River Falls; Teddy Rotenberger – Alabama – Huntsville.
