Springfield Jr. Blues, proud member of the North American Hockey League, are excited to announce that forward Brennan Blaszczak has committed to play hockey next season at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
Blaszczak, a Troy, Michigan native, led Springfield this season with 25 goals in 58 games. He also tallied 14 assists to finish with 39 points. He was selected to the NAHL Top Prospects showcase team in both of his seasons with Springfield.
After coming to Springfield’s Pre-Draft Camp in 2015, Blaszczak was invited back to the team’s Main Camp and made the team’s 2015-16 season roster. In 114 games with Springfield, he amounted 41 goals and 29 assists. His 41 goals is tied for 19th all-time in Springfield history.
