Your Springfield Jr. Blues took on the Janesville Jets for their first post-season game tonight, coming away with a 0-3 loss. They face Janesville again tomorrow night, and we will be at Cooper’s AlleySide for our away game viewing party starting at 7pm!
The first period was quiet, with no score from either team. The second period was equally silent, and we went into the third period with a score of 0-0.
The third period started off with two goals from the Janesville Jets, at 6:24 and 7:02. The tallied again at the end of the period, ending the game with a score of 3-0. The series currently stands 1-0 in favor of Janesville, but we will be back for Game 2 tomorrow night!
